After your wedding I like to send you 5-10 edited images a few days after as a sneak preview so you can share with friends and family. You can expect the fully edited album in around 4-6 weeks.
Where are you based? Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I am based in Edinburgh but have previously travelled for work across the country for many years.
I am more than used to packing a bag or two for work. Travel/accommodation costs can be discussed if more than 2 hours outside of Edinburgh, for destination weddings this will be different but I will always help work within a budget.
Can I book an elopement with you?
Yes of course you can. Every wedding is special no matter the size and I would be honoured to work with you.
Costs can vary and options can be tailored for your specific needs. Options start at £695. Contact me here with the details.
Do you sell prints?
I do not sell you the prints from your wedding day... They are yours.
What I can do is arrange any images you'd like to get printed, for this I would ask a small fee to arrange this.
How Many Photos Will We Get?
With packages One and Two you won't receive any less than 600+ images from me with Option Three being around 300.
Can we book you for video services?
Video is not something I offer personally but I work with very talented people regularly so sourcing the right person to help you with any project you have won't be a problem. A short highlight of your day can start from £450.
How do I receive my images?
I offer beautifully personalised online albums for all my couples. These albums stay active for 12 months. You will need to download your photos and back them up but you can share the gallery online with all your family and friends all over the world.
Do we need to provide you food?
I would absolutely love some food on your wedding day! It’s a super long day often leaving early in the morning and not getting home until late. If food is not provided I will head off to find myself a proper meal this often means I take a 1 hour break offsite.
Do I Need a Second Photographer?
With Option One you get a second shooter but you can add for any of the other options if you would like that little extra coverage.
Normally suggest that if your guest numbers get to around 70/80 then it can be worthwhile. I am more than capable of covering a full day alone but usually I will be with the wedding party while they are getting ready so it can be an advantage to have the the second photographer can be there to capture candid photos of your guests mingling and waiting for your arrival. I like to use a select group of photographers I have worked with in the past so don't worry.
What happens if you can’t make our wedding day?
In the very unlikely event of me being unable to make your wedding your day due to sickness or unforeseen circumstances then I will try to find you a cover - I know lots of amazing photographers and I am part of various cover groups. If I am unsuccessful at finding cover then you will receive a full refund.
What if we decide to change the date/cancel the wedding?
Unfortunately if I’m not available on your new date or you cancel the wedding then the deposit is non-refundable.
Do you take any structured photos?
Absolutely, I think the most important thing about being a wedding photographer is to make sure my clients are happy. If you guys want photos with your parents, siblings and friends then that is what we shall do. I always recommend keeping them to a minimum as they can eat into such a fun part of the day and take you away from quality time with your guests.
Do I need to pay you upfront?
Short answer is no. When your booking is confirmed I will ask you to pay a 20% deposit to secure your date.
You can spread the cost as frequent as you like or pay in full but the remaining balance has to be paid 30 days before your wedding.
Can we order a photo album from you?
Of course you can. It is not something that I offer with my packages but I can more than happily arrange an album for you at an additional cost.
