Drumtochty Castle, Wedding Day, Aberdeenshire

This wedding, what can I say. Jessica & Lewis absolutely smashed this out the park… What a day! The boys of course had the chilled morning after an extremely late/early finish, depends which way you look at it. None the less they were all on top form and had a morning of shooting on the estate which I am sure freshened them up a touch. They got ready down in the Lodge Cottage which is just a stones throw from the chapel where the ceremony was taking place. The girls were up in the castle in the bridal suit which was stunning. As always there are a million things happening at once but it was so much fun and everyone was on top form.

The ceremony was conducted beautifully by Minister Stella Campbell, a familiar face for the couple which was a nice touch. The chapel was lit beuatifully and it went without a hitch. Confetti followed outside up the path and of course there was no dissapointment here as everyone cheered Jessica & Lewis down the path. We then head off for 15 minutes for some photos whilst the guests made their way up to the castle for canpés, drinks and ice cream which we soon followed on to. They were then treated to a show of highland dancing by some of Jessica’s former pupils which was especially fun.

The reception was something else and as always the band aptly named ‘Hot Date’ put on quite the show. Everyone was in great spirits and danced the night away with a mix of ceilidh and good old fashioned party bangers.
