Edinburgh Wedding Photographer & Filmmaker
FAQS
What I Offer - Photography & Videography.
There are variety of different photo and film options which have been structured over the last few years to best suit any wedding or an elopement. For my Photo options, all of the high-resolution images will be delivered through an online gallery, where both you and your guests will be able to download all of the final images.
For Film, I offer a three options, which include Hybrid (Photo & Video), Highlight Film (4-8 minutes long) and Short Film (10-12 minutes long), which documents all of those important moments from your day.
How Long Until I Receive My Photos?
48 hours after your wedding you will receive your sneak peek photos (previews) and depending on the amount of galleries in the queue I aim to deliver final galleries between 5-8 weeks but if I can get it done sooner I will.
Just remember, it will be worth it.
Do You Travel For Weddings?
Yes I do travel for weddings, it’s one of the fun parts of my job. Normally travel costs are all included but if your venue is 2-3 hours away from home then I will ask for accommodation budget of no more than £200. This covers the night before the wedding and the evening of the wedding. I’m always happy to work something out with what is manageable with people, the one thing I don’t want to do is stress you. Destination weddings outside the UK are slightly different but I will always try to work within your budget.
Do You Sell Prints?
The photos belong to you, I don’t charge you any additional fees for them. I do have a print store set up directly to your gallery so that you, friends and family have the option to purchase photo or album prints from recommended printers that I use for work and personal use.
How Many Photos Will We Get?
I always aim to deliver a minimum of 600 images but I am extremely guilty of over-delivering. Mainly because I do not have the heart to leave anything out.
Are You Insured?
I am indeed fully insured. I have public liability insurance which covers any assistants I have and also am registered with the CAA to fly my drone if ever I need to.
Do I Need A Second Photographer?
The option is really down to you. I always find it beneficial if you have a larger wedding with 70+ guests because there may be little moments I miss or am not able to be there for and the second photographer is able to capture everything I can’t. If you also want both partners preparation covered at different locations then it is super helpful.
What Happens If You Can’t Make Our Wedding?
In the very unlikely event of me being unable to make your wedding your day due to sickness or unforeseen circumstances then I will try to find you a cover - I know lots of amazing photographers and I am part of various cover groups. If I am unsuccessful at finding cover then you will receive a full refund.
What Happens If We Cancel?
Unfortunately if I’m not available on your new date or you cancel the wedding then the deposit is non-refundable.
Do We Need To Pay Upfront?
Short answer is no. When your booking is confirmed I will ask you to pay as little as 20% deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance has to be paid 30 days before your wedding.
